These are the great folks that share their knowledge with the Cape Town's SharePoint Community.

 

Bradley Geldenhuys

Bradley Geldenhuys has worked in the USA and the UK in different IT fields and now focuses on Microsoft Technologies notably SharePoint in Cape Town, South Africa. He is a decorated MCP and MCITP in both SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010. He has worked in various environments ranging from financial institutions to mobile communications, implementing SharePoint solutions from the ground up.

Bradley Chetty - SharePoint MSCTS

 

Bradley has 6 years’ experience in SharePoint from 2003 till the current behemoth 2010.  I have worked in various sectors in the market from retail – Financial to Government.  I am currently a SharePoint Consultant at Sanlam assisting various clients in architecting/implementing SharePoint Solutions and paving the way towards SharePoint Excellence. Mark Parker

Troy Gerber

Troy Gerber

Troy’s primary role is as a SharePoint Solutions Architect on enterprise projects. Troy’s areas of expertise are Enterprise Content Management (ECM) using Microsoft SharePoint. He has over ten years’ experience in ECM, having been involved in the successful delivery of enterprise ECM solutions for some of the largest blue chip companies in South Africa. His passion is Microsoft SharePoint Server, a platform on which he has delivered more than 20 ECM projects on, over the past 5 years. He is recognised by Microsoft as leader in his field, by having been invited to fulfil the role of virtual Technology Solutions Professional (vTSP), being one of only 4 SharePoint vTSP’s in South Africa. His technology experience has been gained through an array of infrastructure, web and software development, which has led to his broad knowledge and ability to provide consultancy across the board within a number of vertical markets. His leadership experience has been gained in his various positions held in his career, culminating in his current position as a Director at Intervate Solutions.

 

Johan Olivier

Johan Olivier has 12 years experience in planning, designing, developing, training and implementing cutting-edge Microsoft technical solutions in a wide range of industries. He has done a wide range of international projects and consulting services were successfully delivered in Germany, Greece, United Kingdom, Scotland, India and South Africa. He loves to see individuals develop their technical abilities through his efforts as technical leader and motivator. In 2008 he made a decision to align his career with Microsoft’s roadmap for SharePoint technologies and have since worked hard at becoming a specialized SharePoint Solutions architect and leader. At the moment he is the lead architect of a team who develop SharePoint solutions for the biggest telecoms company in the world. He is very active in the SharePoint community and has been a regular speaker at SharePoint Saturday Cape Town events speaker as well as at InformationWorker events.

Christopher Simusokwe

Christopher serves as the Technical Lead of the SharePoint team at relate. With over 4 years experience in implementing Enterprise Content Management solutions, Business Process Automations, Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Intelligence and Databases, Information Systems, and Bill 198/Sarbanes and Oxley (SOX) Implementations from the Mining, Pension Fund, Banking, and Consulting Services sectors, he was the Architect/Specialist of the first and largest SharePoint Implementation in Zambia with an international Mining company.
