Slide Show View in Picture Libraries (for the Microsoft Bag)
When you select "View Slide Show" from the Actions button in the Picture Library it views all the picdtures and not just the selected items (regarless of what view is being used) - I do not want to create seperate folders for each group of pictures but want be able to select a group of picture and view them only in the slide show

Good Luck!

I did find this really cool app but I don't know it this will solve my problem...

I have a great idea....why not try and use Explorer view. Then you can in explorer view select just the pictures you want to see and then use Windows XP or Vista "View Slide Show", which is even better than SharePoint slide show feature.

It is a solution, however it is not straight forward to get working. I am writing a two part post for my site on it because it is a fairly long explanation. I will update here when I have posted the articles.

Part 1 of my multipart series is up at http://www.sadev.co.za/node/220

Also as part of my researching I did find the following two options which may be easier (quicker) than Slide.Show:
http://www.codeplex.com/SPAdRotator (Bit of lateral thinking in it's use ad's are just images pulled from an image library)
